The Farm

A co-worker of Shannon's recommended that we take the kids to White Post Farms during our visit.  We did, and it was great!  All of us had a fun time and since it was so hot... (80 degrees is hot to Long Island people).  We were the only ones there.

I love this picture of the kids all snuggled up in Mike and Shannon's guest room.

The farm had cold milk bottles and ice cream cones filled with oats for the kids to feed the goats.

This goat stole Nate's milk bottle... Nate refused to feed any other goats after this.

Gracie loved giving the goats bottles, she would only give each goat a small amount before moving onto the next one as she wanted to feed ALL of the goats.

This was Nate's very first time on a horse.  Never before has he wanted to ride.

Gracie was in heaven!

This play structure was completely made out of wood.  They also had a tractor and tank.

Conductor Grace giving Nate and TT a ride.

Watching the Chicken Show (a very informative show about where chickens come from).

On the way to the farm we asked the kids what animals they wanted to see at the farm.  Nate said that he wanted to see chickens.  He was very excited when he saw this giant chicken!

White Post Farms is a working farm.  They have an awesome farmers market where we purchased yummy homemade apple pie, vegetables and homemade raspberry jelly.  Gracie couldn't believe the size of this tomato... she followed TT and I around the store saying "look at this thing ~ it's huge!!!)
