Fall Fest Fun

Gracie's kindergarten celebrated the holiday today with a classroom Fall Festival. The students families were invited to join the fun, so Donnie, Nate and I had a great time celebrating and watching the kids.

Ainsley's Mom, made this amazing quilt for the schools upcoming silent auction fundraiser.

Each of the kids made these very creepy popcorn skeleton hands with candy corn fingernails.

Nate got in on the action too... candy corns are his favorite!

Each of the kids had an opportunity to bob for apples.  Mrs. Bertel grew up bopping for apples and really wanted her kids to experience it... most of them had never done it before.

Somehow being connected after all these years and all those miles, and having a happy warm feeling in my heart seeing Gracie in those pictures...PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!
