Fall Break ~ Day #3

Today, inspired by the book How to Make an Apple Pie and see the world, we baked pie.

Our little baker was very excited to finally make an apple pie, she's been learning all about apples in kindergarten.

We followed the recipe in the back of the book... it was delicious!!!

While the pie cooled, Nate, Scooby, Gracie, Candy Cane and I went to see the movie Beverly Hills Chihuahua.  Scooby rated the movie two paws up, Candy Cane gave it two barks.

Shannon stole my first six words, I knew exactly what I was going to say when I came to the comment section...MMMMM...the apple pie looks delicious and Gracie looks like her Great great grandma (Nano) in her cute apron and I know she will cook like her too! Mady wore her Halloween necklace...the same one Gracie is wearing today!!!! It's the one YOU gave her years ago!!!! How funny!!!Miles apart and they wear the same necklace on the same day!!!!!
