Welcome to PaPa and Memaw's House!

After a 5+ hour car trip, we made it!  It was completely worth the long drive, as we arrived to big hugs from Memaw and PaPa and beautiful 70 degree weather.

Gracie picked out these flowers for Memaw.

The chair that Grace is sitting in belonged to her Great Great Grandmother, Nano.  My aunt has the original four chairs and matching table on the porch.  

The house rules are clearly posted.  Unfortunately since Nate can't read, it didn't take long before he broke rule #3, I especially like rule #6.

Horses, cool mountain air, Memaw, wide open spaces... Gracie was in heaven!!!  As we pulled into Alpine, Gracie said, "Now this is what I'm talkin about... this is where we need to live!"

Even the hummingbirds came out to greet us.

Nate pulled his football out of the car almost immediately after he saw PaPa so they could play catch.

He got very excited every time he caught the ball.

Beautiful!  

My uncle told us this weekend that he is living his dream... It's always been his dream to live in the woods.

Gracie had Memaw checking on the horses within minutes of our arrival.

Nathan liked the horses, but he was much more interested in the Arctic Cat Quad that he found in the barn.
