Fireworks!!!

The fireworks in Alpine are amazing!  For such a small town they put on the greatest show, all of us were very impressed!  The very best part was the weather... it was cold.  We bundled up in our blankets, jackets and cuddled together.

Nate didn't appreciate the goofy stars I picked out for them.

All weekend long the kids have been picking wildflowers for Memaw and I, tonight was no exception.

Memaw brought fresh strawberries and watermelon for the kids.  Nathan LOVES watermelon.  I think that he ate his weight in it.

The fireworks started after a local resident played our national anthem on his guitar and the crowed said the pledge of allegiance.

The kids had fun running around in the dark and making new friends with other kids at the show.
