Sleepy Saturday

The past few weeks have been so busy.  We are all worn out and looking forward to our summertime break.

It's been rainy and cold since Thursday morning, and we've been in heaven!!!  Puddle jumping, long sleeves and jeans, cuddling on the sofa, watching Anne of Green Gables (my favorite), and drinking hot cocoa... it's been great.  Hard to believe that just a few days ago it was 111!

Tonight, Donnie surprised the kids and I with a bonfire in the backyard.  It was so much fun, we made Smores, listened to country music and looked at the stars...

We're pretty sure that a Memorial Day weekend bonfire won't happen again where we live for a very long time... usually we're in the pool this time of year.
