Bride Birthday Party

Kyra celebrated her fifth birthday today with a "bride" party.  It was perfect.  The girls were asked to arrive at the party in their favorite pretty dresses.  Gracie wore the Giselle dress that we gave her for Christmas and Nathan wore the 3 piece suit that Mikey and TT gave him for Thanksgiving.  They were greeted by a dreamy bride land...  Each of the girls were given bridal makeovers, complete with hair, veils, make up, nails, toes, and their very own bouquets...  Afterwards they each took turns taking pictures, cutting the cake, eating a very fancy lunch and of course they each walked down the aisle.  

One of my favorite moments of the day was when the girls all sat down to have lunch.  Just before everyone started to eat, Gracie said, "We forgot to pray!"  She then asked everyone to join hands and led the group of brides in prayer.  Her "prayer" went something like this....  "Fairy Princesses, thank you for bringing all of us here today, please be with us and help all of us find our Prince Charmings.  Amen."

The Hot Chicks have celebrated all five of Kyra's birthday parties together.  Happy Birthday Kyra!!!

Gracie kissing her baby brother groom.  Nate's shirt, vest and jacket came off soon after arriving.  He ran around for the rest of the day wearing only his pants and a bow tie.

My kids "helped" clean up the mess, by eating the yummy left over cake!

When it was time to leave, we couldn't find the baby brothers...  They were in the shower emptying out all of the shampoo and soap bottles.
