Gracie's Big Date

Gracie's eagerly awaited date with her daddy finally arrived... tonight was the First Annual ~ Daddy Daughter Dance in our community.

Gracie has been looking forward to this day for over a month.  This morning she put the final sticker on her Countdown to the Ball with Dad chart.

The perfect silver dancing shoes... Gracie called them her dancing high heels.  She really wanted a pink dress, she picked this one out on the computer.  Ella and Gracie spent the afternoon at the beauty shop having their hair done...  They were very pampered Princesses.

Donnie gave Gracie these beautiful "diamond" bracelets.  Gracie gasped when he opened the box and said "Oh Daddy, are they REAL Diamonds, can I keep them?"

I wish that I could have been a fly on the wall at the dance.  (Ann and I did sneak over and try to peak through the windows...)  Gracie and Donnie were home at 8:00pm.  Gracie was deliriously happy and tired.  They said that they danced, ate dinner, had a toast, won prizes, enjoyed time with friends and danced some more.
